Our Mission: To Bring Salmon Back To Every River & Creek in BC

We support fish hatcheries that release wild salmon fry into their natural estuaries to mature and ultimately make their way to the ocean. Salmon benefit the orcas, fishermen, seals, and other ocean-dwellers. Upon spawning, they provide food for the bears, the eagles and eventually the forest with the nutrients they provide through the soil. We're currently supporting the Four Mile Creek Hatchery in Port Renfrew to raise a million wild chinook salmon to be released into the San Juan River. We also support the Peninsula Stream Society which works to rehabilitate salmon spawning grounds on Vancouver Island. If we're successful in our mission to bring back the salmon to every river and creek, the coastline of BC will be rejuvenated and all species on the coast will benefit. We are currently working to develop self-contained hatchery equipment and processes for remote rivers and streams where access is limited or difficult.
